Meet Our Team
Dr. Tammye Markle, the Founder of Trinity Reins Ranch & Ministries, is an ordained minister and has a Doctorate in Biblical Studies and a Master’s degree in Christian Counseling. Tammye is a Certified Faith-based Equine Assisted Philosophy (FBEAP) Program Facilitator and Instructor and is a 'John Maxwell' Certified Coach, Leadership Trainer, and Speaker. Tammye is the former Chairman of the Miss Texas Pageant Inc., where she provided mentorship and leadership development for young women. In addition, she has been counseling adult victims of childhood sexual abuse for several years and has been conducting equine therapy for three years.
Growing up on a small ranch in Texas, Tammye has been influenced by horse and herd behavior her entire life. When she wasn't spending time with her family or her horses, Tammye was motivating young people to develop effective leadership skills and a heart for service.
Tammye founded Trinity Reins Ministries when she felt that God was calling her to use her experience with horses, leadership and life challenges to help and influence others. She felt the call to create a safe place where people who are coping with life challenges can interact with God and the herd and in a way that promotes experiential healing and freedom.
Malisa Jones is an Equine Specialist and Certified Faith-Based Equine Assisted Philosophy (FBEAP) Program Facilitator at Trinity Reins Ministries.
Horses have been a part of Malisa's life since her youth. Malisa was born on a military base and when she was in high school, her family moved to a farm where she learned to respect and care for many animals, including horses. Malisa was introduced to Equine-Therapy as a participant, following a series of traumatic life events. Now, years later, Malisa is using her growing knowledge of FBEAP and her faith and love of God to share her experience and help others.
Carol Ploetz is one of the corporate leadership development/team building facilitators at Trinity Reins Ministries and is certified in Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) and Faith-Based Equine Assisted Philosophy (FBEAP). A graduate of Purdue University, her professional experience includes consulting work with Fortune 500 companies to develop cohesive work teams. Carol's firsthand knowledge of the corporate world allows her to have a unique ability to take equine assisted learning and provide significant growth and team building exercises for work teams. Carol received her EAL certification from OK Corral, the founder of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and EAGALA and received her FBEAP certification. She develops and facilitates retreats which include original equine exercises.
Carol grew up on a farm and has always loved horses. She has a passion to help individuals and teams to grow and flourish and help people who have experienced hurt.
